The terms
in plain words.

TheCoderInvites (“we”, “us”) designs and builds digital invitations. These terms apply to every order placed through this website.

An interactive invitation hosted by us at a web address we provide, containing the details you give us. Build It Yourself (₹999) uses one of our existing designs. Custom Design (₹4,999) is a new design drawn for your celebration. Both include every feature the invitation can offer.

Submitting an order and paying for it does not immediately produce a finished invitation. We review what you have entered, complete the card by hand, and send you the link when it is ready. Until we mark your order ready, no link exists and none is implied by payment.

Payment is arranged with us directly after you submit your order. This website does not take card details and does not process payments. We begin work once payment is confirmed.

Every invitation remains reachable for 3 months from the day it is delivered. After that it stops serving the card and shows a closing page instead. Tell us before that date if you need it kept up for longer.

While your invitation is being finalised, changes are part of the job — send them over. Once it is live and you have shared the link, changes go through us rather than through the editor, so that a link already circulating cannot be altered by accident.

You can cancel for a full refund at any point before we begin finalising your invitation. Once the work has started, a refund covers the part not yet done. A custom design that has been drawn cannot be refunded, because the thing you paid for has been made.

The names, photographs, text and music you give us stay yours. You give us permission to use them for the purpose of building and hosting your invitation, and nothing else. We will not show your invitation on our portfolio unless you explicitly ask us to.

You confirm that you have the right to use anything you upload — in particular photographs taken by a professional photographer, who usually holds the copyright in them.

The designs, artwork, code and templates remain ours. You are buying an invitation built with them, not the design itself, and not a licence to reuse or resell it.

Your invitation is reachable by anyone holding the link. It is kept out of search engines deliberately, but a link is not a password — treat it as something you are happy to have forwarded, because that is exactly what guests will do with it.

We host on infrastructure we do not own, and we cannot promise an invitation will be reachable without interruption. We will fix anything that breaks as quickly as we can. Our responsibility is limited to what you paid for the invitation.
